Video: Cycling in the Netherlands

This is a best practice that the Philippine Government and Civil Society should aspire for. Forget that cycling reduces a country's dependence on oil imports. Forget that cycling improves a nation's health. Having cycling as a way of life, integrating it in our day to day affairs, is just plain common sense.

Watching this video just makes me want to go to the Netherlands right now and explore the country on my bike.

When will we have the political will like the Dutch to implement this here?

  1. Super nakaka-inggit talaga sa mga bansang kagaya ng Netherlands. I am hoping that our government can create a better transpo system that can be integrated to cycling. Sana maisip ng gobyero kung ano ang advantages ng bicycles sa community. I like your post.

  2. Thanks, Louie. Oo nga, sana may pumansin sa mga local gov't officials natin. Personally, I think it can be done in Makati or Taguig. Marikina is doing a good job actually, pero medyo malayo nga lang sa sentro.
