I had a wedding gift to give to my friend and I needed to send it to him before he flew to Macau, but I didn't have the time to go to his place in Malate. So I thought of sending it through a courier.
Enter Pedala Bike Messengers into the picture.
I actually could have sent my package via LBC, which is like the Starbucks of delivery courier services, but LBC only offers next day delivery. The unique selling point of Pedala, aside from using bikes instead of motorcycles and delivery trucks, is that they offer SAME-DAY DELIVERY, which is a big plus.
So, I texted Pedala at 0920-698-7777 (they can also be reached by email at pedalabikemessengers@gmail.com) Thursday afternoon, gave the details of the delivery (where to pick-up the package and where to deliver it), and they replied to confirm my order.
Friday morning, Pedala bike messenger, Mr. Eric Sajorda, passed by for the package at our place. Gave the item (which was a blanket) and paid P100 for the one-way inter-city delivery (Makati to Manila) service. Then off he went.

By Friday afternoon, or 4 hours later, my friend texted me that he received the wedding present in good condition. Just in time before he had to leave for his flight. NICE. What can I say, I am one satisfied customer. Thanks, Pedala! If you have a small package for delivery within Metro Manila, I highly recommend this courier service.

Perfect..... i remember this type of service we did also back abroad. 3 years experience ... gee's i think i'll start again :)
ReplyDeleteIt's for sure that kind attitude of delivery boys matter a lot. My friends are quite sure about the same day delivery Dallas as they hire them often to send gifts and books to other places. Not only the timing is exact but the prices charged are affordable. I am also thinking to send toys for my niece through them only. Hoping for similar response.
