I want to promote the use of folding bikes as a means of transportation here in the Philippines. This blog is meant to share my experiences as a folding bike user. I chose a Brompton for its classic style and compact fold, but other brands like Dahon, Strida, Bike Friday, Flamingo and Peerless produce good foldies as well.

Alternative Bags for the Brompton (Demano)
These Demano bags are an alternative to the Brompton stock front bags (A-type, C-type, S-type and T-type). They're made in Spain and are available over at nycewheels.com.
They are pretty expensive though ($175!). I think my friend Nitya of Yadu Store can fabricate a local version at a fraction of the price.
Paging Nitya! :D

It will be a great job because it is really expensive. Alternative Bags are very good, durable and stylish.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely loved the "Alternative Bags for the Brompton (Demano)" post! As a Mens fashion enthusiast who also commutes via bike, I’m always on the lookout for stylish yet practical accessories. The Demano bags are a fantastic choice, blending functionality with a chic, modern vibe.
ReplyDeleteThe use of recycled materials not only makes them eco-friendly but also gives them a unique, textured look that stands out from more conventional cycling bags. Plus, the versatility in design means you can easily pair them with a range of outfits—from casual jeans and a tee to a more polished work ensemble. I’m particularly drawn to how these bags manage to incorporate fashion-forward elements while remaining true to their purpose.
Can’t wait to try one out and see how it complements my wardrobe. Thanks for highlighting such a great option for merging cycling convenience with style!
